Afzal Noor Trust Foundation is a nonprofit corporation and operates exclusively for healthcare and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
The medical facility contains maternity and pediatric care services, along with a primary care department. The facility provides basic checkup and Prenatal services is at no-cost, while the maternity services including normal childbirth and neonatal care is provided at a very small token fee to the poor, impoverished and under-served rural communities of the Okara, Punjab region of Pakistan.
The core facility, an outpatient medical clinic, is currently fully operational since January 2015. It serves the entire rural and underserved area and provides medical services to the impoverished population of Chak No. 18/G-D Punjab, Pakistan and the neighboring villages in a remote rural district of Okara, Pakistan. The establishment and administration of these facilities will be under the supervision and guidance of Afzal Noor Trust Foundation's board of directors at all times. The board shall have the sole and absolute discretion over expenditures, operations and will provide opportunities for involvement in the Foundation's healthcare activities and programs to have a greater impact for change.
